We worked with Gen Phoenix to develop a soft and durable uncoated leather lining, used in many Coachtopia products, made with 75% total recycled content.

The materials that we choose, we choose very carefully. When we look at the options around lower impact materials, more circular, or regenerative approaches, scalability is also important - we're tackling leather waste, but without compromising the durability of the product.

With ELeather by Gen Phoenix, a revolutionary alternative to leather, airBaltic has lowered the carbon footprint of its Airbus A220-300 aircraft and now provides its passengers with the most sustainable and high-performance solution out there.

De Lijn made a deal with Gen Pheonix to provide all their new buses and trams with ELeather. It's recycled leather, which gives our vehicles an upgraded look, and which is also more durable, hardwearing and easier to clean.

The redesign demonstrates how Schiphol is working towards its ambition of becoming a zero-waste airport in 2030 and fully circular in 2050. All seats in the corridor were previously used at Schiphol. They have been upholstered in ELeather, a sustainable leather made from leather industry waste.

The Revive boot uses uppers made from Aurora, Gen Phoenix's high-quality recycled leather that provides an >80% lower carbon footprint than traditional leather. The sleek black finish exudes rugged elegance, perfectly meeting the aesthetic requirements of the Revive design while offering the demanding durability of a modern engineering safety boot.
